2018 Safe Spaces Resource Guide

Please note that inclusion in this guide does not mean endorsement by Safe Spaces Coalition of the Chippewa Valley. If you have a positive or a negative experience with anyone on our Resource Guide, please feel free to share your experience with the Chippewa Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center at info@cvlgbt.org or Safe Spaces Coalition at safespacescv@gmail.com.

If a provider is not listed here, it does not mean that they are anti-LGBTQ. We may have missed them in our outreach efforts, or they may have been too busy to respond. We will be continuously updating this directory, and we welcome new providers offering LGBTQ-friendly services.

Inclusion in this listing does not guarantee that the provider is completely knowledgeable or competent in all matters of LGBTQ-related services. You may wish to consult a general guide to approaching service providers such at the Human Rights Campaign’s brochure “Do Ask, Do Tell: Talking to your health care provider about being LGBT,” available at: www.hrc.org/resources/coming-out-to-your-doctor.

We do not do background checks on the health care providers listed here and therefore can make no representation about their professional qualifications. You may wish to check such information with the state or county professional licensing organization that serves the area where the provider practices. Our provider directory listings are only for personal use. They may not be used for soliciting, marketing, or canvassing purposes.

No one has paid a fee to participate in our provider directory, and we do not receive any payment from practitioners who are listed.
